I am directed by Mr. Secretary Griffiths

to transmit to you, to be laid before the Minister of Transport, a copy of the Report of the

Dangerous Goods Committee which was appointed by the Governor of Hong Kong in 1949.

2. In forwarding the Report the Governor has asked that an expression of the appreciation of the Colonial Government may be conveyed to the officials of the Ministry of Transport and, in particular, to Mr. E.F.Callow, M.B.E., for the ready assistance they rendered to the Hong Kong Dangerous Goods Committee.
